ALABASTER WHITE BUFFALO SCULPTURE RAFFLE
As a spin-off to the Spirit of White Buffalo project, four offenders in
Drumheller Institution's Native Brotherhood program carved an impressive
alabaster white buffalo sculpture, with a commercial value of $3500.
They donated it to CAOS to raffle off. Tickets are $5, and the draw will be
made on January 2,
2008.
Proceeds from the ALABASTER WHITE BUFFALO SCULPTURE will support
Young Spirit Voices, a drama initiative for urban aboriginal youth in Calgary.
“The White Buffalo is capable of bringing hope, peace, love, and balance to
Humankind. The White Buffalo can create dreams and visions for those who
behold her. She shines a huge light on darkness and can open the doors in all
seven sacred directions, inspiring never before seen ceremonies that embody
all of creation.” –Wapsepnashi Equai
